Commander 🚩

Commander sends an attack or support so that it arrives at the time you choose.

Access: Base

Schedule an order

  1. Make sure Commander is switched on in Senate.
  2. Open a normal Grepolis attack or support window.
  3. Choose the target and units as usual.
  4. In the Commander section, choose the arrival day and time (HH:MM:SS).
  5. For an attack, you can add a Divine spell.
  6. Optional: turn on Precise timing (see below).
  7. Optional: turn on Pre-send notification for an alert a few seconds before departure.
  8. Click ⏱ Schedule.

Open Combat Orders with the flag button in the Hub header to see your orders. From there you can change the arrival time or spell, delete an order, or use Clear finished to tidy the list. Orders still waiting or travelling are always kept.

Precise timing

Without Precise timing, Commander works out when to leave and sends once.

With Precise timing, you choose how far off the arrival may be:

  • up to X seconds earlier;
  • up to X seconds earlier or later; or
  • up to X seconds later.

If Grepolis shows an arrival outside that range, Commander cancels, waits for the troops to come home, and tries again. Turn on Force send on final retry if the last attempt should go ahead even when it is still off. This is useful for support that is better late than never.

Settings

  • Notifications of my friends' orders: tell you when a friend shares an order.
  • Deleting successful orders: remove an order 30 seconds after it succeeds.
  • Self-correcting troops: if fewer units are home than planned, send what is there instead of cancelling.
  • Order timing: allow the retries used by Precise timing.
  • Maximum number of retries: stop after this many attempts.
  • Delay between retries (s): wait this long after the troops return.

Share orders with friends

In Friend Network, turn on Commander for each friend who should see your orders. You must both play on the same world.

Important

Keep the computer awake and the Grepolis tab open. A slow connection, a sleeping browser, a captcha, missing units, a changed travel bonus, or Grepolis refusing the order can stop an exact send.
