Recruiter 🏹

Recruiter trains the units you queue for each city, one batch after another.

Access: Base

Add an order from the Hub

  1. Open the Hub and select Recruiter.
  2. Switch to the city you want to set up.
  3. Choose Barracks or Harbor.
  4. Pick a unit and enter how many you want.
  5. Optional: pick a hero. Recruiter brings that hero to the city before it starts the order.
  6. Turn on Repeat to keep recruiting the same batch.
  7. Turn on Priority to put it ahead of the other orders.
  8. Click Add.
  9. Go back to Senate and switch Recruiter on.

Click an order in the queue to remove it.

Add an order from the Barracks or Harbor

With Recruiter on, a queue panel also appears inside the Grepolis Barracks and Harbor windows. There you can also:

  • attach a speed-up power, such as Spartan Training or Call of the Ocean;
  • pick a hero for the batch; and
  • choose whether this batch may ask for resources (see below).

A power is only used if your city worships the right god, you have enough favor, and nothing blocks the spell. Recruiter casts it just before recruiting, once all the resources are in the city, so you get the most out of it.

Let Recruiter ask for resources

When a batch is short only on resources, Recruiter can ask your Trader Provider cities to send what is missing. Turn this on with Auto-trade recruitment resources.

  • Providers always keep 150 of each resource for themselves.
  • Shipments go out a few seconds apart, and never overfill the warehouse of the city being supplied.
  • Recruiter prepares a few batches ahead. Auto-trade lookahead sets how many (1–7, default 2, counting the current batch). The first batch is always funded first.
  • Shipments are sent even when Trader itself is switched off, as long as Task Queue is on.

You decide per batch, per city, or for everything:

  • Per batch: the setting on the order itself.
  • Per city: in the city list you can set Global, Enabled, or Disabled, and a different lookahead. The list can be filtered by Grepolis town group.
  • Global: the main switch.

The most specific setting wins: batch, then city, then global.

Help from friends

If you and a friend both turn on Recruitment funding in Friend Network, your friend can approve a batch and cover whatever your own Providers cannot. Nothing is sent until they approve it, and two friends never pay for the same resources.

Settings

  • Barracks - recruitment slots: how many Barracks orders may run at once in a city (1–7, default 7).
  • Port - recruitment slots: the same for the Harbor (1–7, default 7).
  • Auto-trade recruitment resources and Auto-trade lookahead: see above.

Heroes

  • Recruiter waits while the chosen hero is injured or travelling.
  • If another hero is in the city, Recruiter dismisses them first.
  • Before moving a hero to another city, Recruiter finishes the batches that need that hero where it currently is.
  • When Anysia is in a city, her favor discount is taken into account for that city's mythical units.

If an order waits

Check resources, free population, the building level, free recruitment slots, the chosen hero and power, any active pause, and Task Queue. The order stays in the queue until it can start.
